Solving the WBE Digital Disconnect: Connecting to Corporate Buyers with Confidence

White paper with Slice Communications
December 2016 to March 2017

Slice Communications and Cogberry Creative saw the opportunity to share thought leadership with women-owned businesses who routinely show a “disconnect” from implementing best practices in digital marketing, including the lack of sustainable website design and social media engagement.

By analyzing raw data from the Wharton Small Business Development Center on more than 900 Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), the Cogberry Creative team worked closely with Slice Communications to develop a content strategy around the resulting white paper, which the Cogberry Creative team project managed, researched, wrote, and guided through the editorial and design production process. The paper has been downloaded hundreds of times and resulted in a speaking engagement at the 2017 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair.

“We have worked with Cogberry Creative before, and I specifically wanted to work with them on this study not only because our team needed soup-to-nuts writing, editing, and production support, but also because this study showcases the importance of women’s leadership–a core value of both our companies.”
